Susan and Janna

I am so grateful to have two friends in Utah whom I've known for a long time: Susan and Janna. I met Susan when I came to BYU in 1970. She was a freshman, and I was a junior, and we were assigned to the same apartment - #273 Young Hall in Heritage Halls. I remember Susan from the very start. My boyfriend at the time, Bill Smith, had come to the apartment looking for me before I arrived, and Susan told me how cute he was. From that moment on we were friends. Janna was Susan's best friend from her growing up years in Salt Lake, and therefore became my friend too. Susan and I continued to be roommates for the next several years and Janna joined us at Seville Apartments (now Bountiful Court) in the 1972-73 school year. It's been wonderful to share 38 years of memories with these two women! I value their friendships so much. Steve Palmer and Steve Anderson joined and completed our group when they married Susan and Janna....thanks to all of you for easing our transition when we moved back to Utah in 2005. I love you all...MWAH!

I'm the lucky one. To randomly be assigned a roommate and have her end up being a friend for all these years is truly a blessing. We're so glad to have you back after all these years. Your house is beautiful and we had such a great time the other night. You are the perfect hostess. Thanks for keeping us all together. Love you, Susan
