Last night I wrote a long post and left it on the computer when Jesse and Karina got here. Later on I asked Don's help to play a game with Lilly on the computer and somehow my blog post got deleted. GRRRR that was frustrating!
It's been a month tomorrow since my car accident. I got a copy of the police report and found out the name of the girl I hit and also the angel witness who stopped and helped. Her name is Almeda and she was apparently fine. It's a tender mercy from the Lord that both she and I were fine afterwards. I'm so grateful. I'm also grateful to Curt Miller and wish I could find out his phone number to call and tell him so. Does anybody out there know Curt Miller?
Don has to have two MRIs on his foot and ankle as the swelling is still there. He also broke a tooth the other day so now he needs a crown. All this medical stuff is killing us. It would be worth it if they could figure out what's wrong with his foot! He also had two things removed from his face and one was a basal cell carcinoma. They think they got it all but he has to go back in two months for a check up.
I am doing fine physically other than needing to lose some weight. I've been bad about exercising lately. I have a cold or perhaps a virus but it's not swine flu. Several of my kids at school have had it and it has gone through their families so I don't want to bring it home to Don!
Lilly had a great Halloween this year. She was dressed up as Belle and looked beautiful in her yellow costume. Karina curled her hair and found shoes at DI that she spray painted gold and they really looked great. I got to see her in her costume at school which was fun! She got to see me in my witch costume and she wasn't so sure she liked that. The next day I wore my gypsy costume and it was way more comfortable. Jesse and Karina sent a little costume to Christie and Travis for their cat Zorro and that made Christie very happy!
Sox the cat continues to deteriorate and has lost lots of weight and had diarrhia every day now. He also vomits a lot. We can't afford high vet bills right now so we haven't taken him. I don't think he's in any pain and he eats and drinks normally. He's something like 17 years old so he's just very elderly. He sure is ruining our carpet though.
Don got a new calling. He's now choir director. He'll be great at that. I'm still RS chorister. It's a very easy job. We are also YSA coordinators but that job doesn't entail much due to the face that they attend the YSA ward. We could do more with it but we haven't been.
That's all that's going on for now. The Phillies are down 3 games to 1 in the World Series. Doesn't look too great for them, but Don, Karina and Lilly are happy the Yankees are winning. Jesse and I are rooting for the Phillies.

I don't want to take Faraday in for the same reason. I wish I could get prednisone over the counter. Medical bills are ridiculous and wouldn't be so high if doctors and vets published their prices and you could compare them. I hope kitty gets better.
I am sorry you have been having health issues again with Don. That is not fun! I have to go and have a double crown done in a week or so! I wish it wasn't so expensive! I have been busy working...not much else. Hang in there! The holidays will be here before you know it!
I thought that I just checked your blog and now I see that you posted on Nov. 1st. How could time have slipped by so fast?! I hope things turned out well for Don and all his tests. Not much fun going through all this medical stuff.
I hope you're feeling better now. I'm excited about Don's new calling. That sounds perfect for him. I'll email you soon. Miss you!
I don't know why this says Steve says. This is SUSAN! It just started doing this. We need Don to solve the puzzle, I guess.
i wanted to thank you for your kind words filled with wisdom.
