I went back to the eye doctor yesterday for a pressure check. Both eyes were at 18. That was down from 25 before the surgery. They hoped the surgery would take them to the low teens, and the doctor is hoping the pressure will still go lower yet, but he said he would take the 18. My eyes do feel better now, not tired and burning like they used to. I guess I'm glad I had the surgery.
I finally went to a doctor to have my arthritis diagnosed once and for all, and I do have osteoarthritis. My left knee is degenerating and I will be facing a knee replacement in the future, sometime. Until then I am to continue taking extra-strength tylenol twice a day and Aleve three times a day, and he wants me to exercise by either using an elliptical, a stationary bike or swimming. No walking, which is discouraging, because I like walking. Oh, well! I'm glad to have a definitive diagnosis!
Just thought the few readers of this blog might like an update!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I am so sorry to hear about your health issues! I hope things get better for you. I know if the doctor told me that I would have to swim everyday I would be in heaven..lol
Please keep us updated!
yeah, but where do you go to swim, and how do you fit it in when you work full time, and how about all that wet hair????
LOL! OK, so maybe it is better to go swimming when you have an indoor pool down the road from your house and you are a stay at home mom...sorry :)
Love you Pat! And love to Don also!
There is an indoor pool in Lehi that I could join. I'm just too tired after working all day with preschoolers to go out at night and swim, and the wet hair thing really does distress me...my hair is hard enough to deal with as it is. ah, the joys of getting old.
Love you, too, Natalie, and your family!
Well if it makes you feel better I am younger than you and have similar issues :0) my joint stuff is from my thyroid though. I haven't had a pressure check in over a year, I really need to get around to that. Big HUGS!! Your sis, Kris ;0)
Kristina, get that eye pressure check! Love, Pat
Oh boy, you and I should live near each other. I can't walk much either. But water therapy would be great. It's just more of a hassle than stepping out your front door and walking. Oh well, gottan do what you gotta do.
