An Interesting Procedure
Don had his TEE today. Contrary to how that sounds, it's not tee-hee fun. But it was fine. They sedated him, put a tube into his throat and checked around his heart and behind it mostly for clots. All was well and the doctor said he's got a strong heart and everything looked good. It only took 15 minutes but it took him about 45 to come out of the anesthesia. Then we went for more blood work. I think the neurologist is a vampire...they took at least 8 vials of blood! We stopped on the way home for gas and to eat at McDonald's. He had a parfait. His throat is a little sore now but he's doing well. We had to get up at 5:30 a.m. to get to the hospital so we were both tired and took naps. I think he slept for maybe 3 hours! Anyway, another day...tomorrow is the MRA. He thinks his vision is a little better today which is wonderful. Perhaps he is slowly healing. Thanks to all of you for reading this and keep those prayers coming!

Glad to hear he is noticing improvement and will continue to pray for his speedy recovery.
I'm grateful he is headed in the right direction.
I am so glad that he is feeling better, do let me know if you need anything!
Thanks, you guys! We're doing ok. Up and down, but I'm still hopeful, mostly because of the amazing blessing he received from our son (but we know who the blessing really came from, of course). So here's to being positive!
