Neurologist

We went to the doctor's today. He said he isn't sure if Don had a clot or a dissected blood vessel, which means the vessel sort of split but didn't rupture. He set up an appt. tomorrow with a neurologist in Provo. We will get more information then, I hope. They might have to do an angiogram which is when they put a fiber optic thing up through your leg into the vessels of your brain. That makes me nervous because it could cause a heart attack or even another stroke. But Don is young (relatively), has a very healthy heart and those things work in his favor. They might decide to treat it medically with drugs too. We just don't know. His vision hasn't returned but we are still hopeful it will. We're taking it one day at a time.
